With over 20 years of corporate experience as an award-winning Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and human resources professional, Shakema has spent her career advocating for others and ensuring they have access to the tools and opportunities needed to thrive.
Her journey to wealth and purpose wasn’t linear. After suffering from anxiety and workplace burnout, Shakema took an extended leave from her career, forcing her to reflect on what truly mattered. She realized that true wealth isn’t just about money—it’s about mental clarity, wellbeing, and living in alignment with purpose. Through this transformation, she developed a passion for helping others heal their financial past, evolve their mindset, rise above limitations, and outshine in every area of life.
Shakema is the founder of Sage Generational Wealth, a coaching and real estate business that helps individuals make sage financial decisions, whether through real estate investments, financial education, or purpose-driven wealth strategies. She is also the creator of The Wealthy Me, a brand focused on wealth-building, mindset transformation, and financial empowerment. Through coaching, speaking engagements, live workshops, and digital content, she provides practical tools for people looking to reset their financial future, shift from scarcity to abundance, and build a life of clarity, confidence, and purpose.
As a licensed Realtor in Pennsylvania and Maryland, Shakema specializes in guiding first-time homebuyers, relocators, and real estate investors through the complex world of homeownership and real estate investing.
